The police high command has given an insight why the call on the commissioner of police ,Rivers state to be removed is still pending.
They have been several call from different group of people for Mr. Mbu to be removed , but the Minister of police Affairs ; Capt Caleb (rtd) cleared the air yesterday why he can not be removed for now.
The police Service Chairman Commission ,former Inspector General of police , Sir Mike Okiro ,on his own part maintained that the commissioner will not be removed not untill after the out come of the investigation to ascertain the level of his involvement over the allegation brought to his office by Governor of Rivers state.
Mike Okiro ,who stated that he has directed the Inspector General of police to look into the allegation , appealed to member of the public to exercise patience and wait for the out come of the investigation , and promise to deal departmentally with any police officer found wanting over matter.
