It was supposed to be the duty of the mother to know when to breast feed her child ,and not the husband.
Though the duty of catering for the child is a joint responsibility of the the parents ,70% of it really lies on the mum.
But this is a different case ,as a man allegedly killed his wife for delaying in breast feeding the newly born baby twin.
The deceased who is identified as Osarumwnse and who was said to be preparing for the naming ceremony of her twins was allegedly killed by her husband in Oka quarters, Upper Sakponba, Benin- City.
It was gathered that the couple celebrated the birth of the twin last Sunday , and was preparing for naming ceremony when the unfortunate incident happen.
The husband who hit the wife on the head with a hard object for delaying in breast feeding the twin ,has to do that because the late wife did not immediately breastfeed the twin babies when the husband ask her to do so ,though the wife was seriously pres , and decided to wee first before breastfeeding the children.
It is gathered that the husband went to where the late wife was urinating and carry on the act after a heat argument.
Police spokesmsn, DSP Moses Eguavoen confirmed the incident. He said the husband has been arrested from where he was hiding.
