A traditional ruler has just landed himself into trouble for allegedly ordering the beating of a 60 year old man to death at the palace of the Ogiyan of Ejigbo in Osun state.
Information receives state that Pa Adegboye died following complications he suffered as a result of the injuries inflicted on him during his tortured at the palace.
The deceased which was hospitalized since 2011 ,finally kicked the bucket last year.
The family of the deceased had petitioned the Inspector General of police through their council Mr.Yakeen ,concerning the inhuman treatment meted out to his client describing it as an abused of his fundamental right.
The deceased was said to be visited in such a manner when he challenge the decision of the community on the rightful owner of a parcel of land which rightfully belong to his family.
Mr. Oladepo also alleged that his client was forcefully stripped at the palace of the Ogiyan during a peace meeting called by the monarch of the town, Oba Omowonuola Oyesosin between the concerned families claiming ownership of the affected land.
However, Adegboye was confirmed dead at Gedu General Hospital, Ejigbo where he had been receiving treatment since 2011 after the incident at the palace .
